Home has been hit with the Sickness

Now that there are two little people in our casa, that makes two down with the sickies...First my Little Man with congestion and cough...I became more concerned when his breathing became more labored on Sat evening. Big Man and I decided to take him to Urgent Care, where sadly (broke my heart) he had to have all of the yucky suctioned from his nose and throat. In turn he was diagonosed with RSV...not much we can do for him with the exception of saline and an aspirator. I slept with him on my chest as I was scared he would stop breathing. So far so good his breathing has gotten better, he is not as congested and thankfully the cough is all but gone.
Then comes Sunday evening, Little Miss said taht her tummy was hurting and she wanted to go to bed. Now if you know anything about Little Miss, she does not sleep! So this was to my surprise. I felt her head and took her temp. She had a 99.7 fever. Now to the Medicine Cabinet. Thankfully she took her medicine like a good little person (This too unusal).
This Bright and Early, 7 AM! Monday morning, Little Miss came in and was burning up. I took her temp. Yep fever. Oh NO! We are out of Motrin. Off to CVS, Motrin has been pulled off the shelves but you can use the generic which is the same thing? Strange...This time I had to Dilute the Kool Aide and WaLa! Fever broke...

Little Man resting quietly...

Morning Nap for Momma, how do parents do it with multiple sickies...I am learning in due time, being a mother of two for 1 month and 8 days...I still have a long time to learn...

About

I am a local designer who loves trinkets and treasures, bling and baubles, the vintage and victorian, and anything with pearls and lace. I am inspired by black and white photos, old greeting cards, fashion, Paris/London, Frida Kahlo, Steinlen, and my family. I have inherited the gift of creativity from the wonderful women in my life, my mother whose vision is never ending, my grandmother whose soft and gentle touch puts just the right finish on a project, my sister whose words are never ending, my daughter and nieces with their pure outlook on life. Thank you for the gifts and visions that you share and inspire me to be the best designer that I can be. Thats me(Therese)on the left, the designer and owner of Fanciful Notations. I love to share my ideas with you. I work hard to create beautiful prints and creations that will leave an impression on the mind of those who are on the receiving end. Enjoy and remember to dance as if no one is watching.
